Originally designed to house and grow exotic fruits and plants, orangeries became a symbol of wealth and status.
Nowadays they provide a beautiful alternative to the traditional conservatory.
Designed with solid build columns, a partial solid ceiling, and the inclusion of a roof light, they are a well balanced mix of traditional build extensions and conservatories.
The Orangeries that we at Bergson & Eaton provide are glass extensions of your home that normally incorporate the original architectural style of your property, creating a seamless blend between home and Orangery. Bergson and Eaton also design a contrasting design of Orangery to the original house for a more contemporary look. If you are looking to enhance the overall look and feel of your home, an Orangery should definitely top your list of home improvements.
Because each one is completely bespoke and unique to the property, we offer Orangeries in an endless amount of styles. You can choose how you would like every detail of the Orangery so that it is completely bespoke. When it comes to our luxury Orangeries, we are only limited by your imagination.
Our Orangeries can be used in numerous ways, from domestic extensions incorporating dining rooms, living rooms and kitchen extensions and games rooms or in a commercial situation they are used in nursing homes, pubs and restaurants.

We use a number of different Lanterns which locate on the roof structure, including uPVC, Wood or Aluminium depending on your taste and budget.
The final decoration around the roof structure can again be totally designed to suit your needs and can incorporate standard fascia and gutter, an all in one Aluminium fascia gutter or a combination of both. Dentil Moulding can also be fitted for a more traditional style.

Warm welcome. Efficient. Advised us what was available for our requirements, answered our questions. The surveyor was thorough and efficient. Good team of installers, worked well together, kept mess to a minimum. Have used Bergson and Eaton in the past. Helpful staff would recommend.
The door was damaged when installed, we had a few problems with the doors not closing satisfactorily so had visits after the installation, also two handles were marked and needed replacement. Company responded well to problems in touching up damage and adjusting and replacing handles. Would recommend the company.
The salesman was friendly and helpful. The surveyor was efficient. The installers got on with the job, cleaned up well when finished. Pleased with the results. Very pleased with the company in general. Recommended to me and would certainly recommend to others. May be a little dearer but you get what you pay for.
Darren, as always was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The surveyor was thorough in checking details prior to installation. The fitters Alan and Rob are an excellent team of workers. Upon completion everywhere left clean and tidy, they did a great job. We first became customers in 1982 replacing our wooden frames and doors. In the past 2/3 years we have had them all replaced again. We always receive the same excellent service and would recommend Bergson and Eaton without hesitation.
