The installation of a new conservatory, orangery or windows and doors can be intimidating, but our friendly and experienced staff have a proven track record of providing a service you can rely on to set you at ease. With over 20,000 installations behind us and 40 years experience we provide a “design to completion experience” that we believe is truly exceptional. All our conservatories are designed and installed to the very highest of standards, ensuring you get the very best in product, service and customer support every time. If planning permission or building regulations are required, Bergson & Eaton can arrange it on your behalf with the local council.
At Bergson & Eaton we look after you from start to finish.
We cover all aspects of any planning permission and building regulations right down to the electrics, plumbing, plastering and painting.
At Bergson & Eaton we work together with you during the design process, giving you creative control to produce outstanding conservatory and orangery designs that are truly stylish, individual and unique. We will arrange an initial visit with our sales consultant who will take some photographs of your home and garden, some approximate measurements and your ideas for the design – our experienced team will do the rest – creating a three-dimensional computer generated image, showing in detail every angle of your new conservatory or orangery. All part of our free design and quotation service!
Following the initial meeting, we will arrange a visit from our qualified surveyor in order to take detailed measurements and discuss finer details for the conservatory, orangery or windows, such as the exact positioning of the doors and windows, whether they are French doors, Patio doors or Bi-folding doors. Once the survey has been completed our surveyor will liaise with our Order Processing department. They will then contact you to finalise the designs.
All installation is carried out by our own teams of local fitters and builders to ensure the highest standards of workmanship throughout all stages of conservatory and orangery construction. By utilising our own specialist personnel we are able to closely monitor both the quality of installation and also the continuity of the project from concept to completion. In order to maintain the quality of the works our Installations Manager Carl Gunning will visit your job regularly to ensure that this process runs smoothly and is being carried out to your satisfaction.
Customers are often put off the idea of installing a conservatory or orangery due to the disruption it could cause in their home, along their street and to their day-to-day lives. However, at Bergson & Eaton we strive to provide a stress-free service, one that has been frequently praised as you can see on our testimonials page. Not only is the experience quick and easy, but our staff are regularly complimented on their punctuality, attitude and work ethic. We use all our own building teams who are employed by Bergson and Eaton.
The electrics will be installed once the Conservatory/Orangery base and brick works have been completed. All electrics will be installed as per your specifications, i.e. where the sockets and (although this will be discussed with you at time of survey), lighting are to be positioned.
All plumbing works would be carried out by our plumber who will discuss any works to be carried out. If there are any drains to be moved, we would apply to Thames Water on your behalf for an ‘Agreement’ to Build Over or close to the sewer that crosses the site and which is either public or has been adopted by Thames Water under legislation that came into force on 1st October 2011.
At Bergson & Eaton we never leave a job unfinished. So, for example, once the conservatory/orangery has been installed we will attend to the plastering of any walls, fitting of electrical sockets and lights as well as fans where necessary. We will always leave your home and garden clean and tidy after each day of work at your property. Once the installation is complete we will arrange a ‘Final Inspection’. This will be carried out by our Installations Director, who will thoroughly review the work and check for anything that remains to be done or which requires further attention. Once all is satisfactory you will be asked to ‘sign off’ the installation.
All of our installations are managed and overseen by our Operations Director who will liaise with yourselves on a schedule that is convenient to you and if you have any queries on the installation the Operations Director Doug Manderfield will endeavour to resolve these issues with you.
